NOTE: This Page Is Under Construction
The information given on this page is given as guidance only, to help you work out what may be causing any problem you may be having. We do not encourage you in anyway to open or attempt to carry out any work whatsoever. Macerators and pumps are electrical, electronic, mechanical devices that operate in water and as such present a clear danger if you attempt or allow an unqualified or untrained person to do any work on them.
The information and advice given here is the advice given by Advance Care, other approved engineers may disagree or give different advice and in near every case, you should follow the advice of the approved person on site. Saniflo have no responsibility for any advice or information given here.
The likely problem here is that a new membrane is needed or there is something stuck under the membrane or for some reason the Macerator or pump is not able to completely empty all of the water. You would normally need a competent person to diagnose and complete this work. Please also keep in mind that some models and makes use a pressure chamber or float system to detect the water and turn the motor on and off and not a membrane.
You Have a number of options and I will talk about 5 of them:
